PARIS (Sputnik) — The four countries' diplomats last met in the so-called Normandy format on the margins of the Munich Security Conference in Germany last Saturday. They were anticipated to gather again before mid-March.
"We are working with our ‘Normandy format’ partners to organize the next meeting of foreign ministers," Romain Nadal told reporters without naming any exact date.
This will be the first Normandy Four meeting for France's newly-appointed Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault.
The former mayor of Nantes succeeded Laurent Fabius after he stepped down earlier in February. French Foreign Ministry's senior diplomat Nicolas de Riviere represented France at the talks in Munich.
