DAMASCUS (Sputnik) — A man has committed a suiside suicide in Syria on Saturday on the road between the cities of Salamia and Khanifis in the western governorate of Hama, Lebanese media reported.
Several people were reportedly injured in the explosion, the Al Mayadeen television channel reported.
A militant from the Islamic State (IS) terror groups is suspected to have detonated the bomb. The groups is banned in Russia, the United States and in other nations, and is not part of the ongoing truce between the Syrian government and opposition factions.
