WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Davis told reporters providing an update on the arrangement that the line "continues to work very effectively."
Davis announced earlier this month that pro-Syrian government forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have reached an agreement to deconflict their operations with the help of the US-led coalition and Russia.
The United States did not use the deconfliction line with Russia for operations in Syria amid the downing of a pro-Syrian government drone near al-Tanf because the event unfolded too fast.
The memorandum of understanding on air safety over Syria between the armed forces of Russia and the United States has been in effect since October 2015.
